Did you just post new prices that are A LOT higher, or am I just crazy. I was going to order a 70w MH upgrade for a 29 biocube, and based on the NEW price I am going to do it myself. The old price was not unreasonable, but I live in michigan not california, so maybe middle class is not the target market. Sorry if I sound bitter, but we are all bitter here by nature.

I'm not sure when you visited our site last, but the prices on the nanocustoms.com website have not changed since mid 2007. Additionally, through the free shipping promotion and free installation promotions, customers have been able to save more today than they did prior to the rollout of these promotional programs.

Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on what your views are), our products are priced with the belief that "you get what you pay for". As a nanocustoms customer or prospective customer, you pay for top quality components, well thought out designs, throughly tested features/designs, safety features, responsive customer service via phone/email/forums, and a warranty.

Before we get into too much more discussion, can you post the link to the Retrofit that you were considering?

I think the confusion came from the fact that on the information links (located on right side of every page) there are two "Contact us" links.

I already apologized to a moderator here, My account was hijacked by my nephew who was p.o.'d at me for busting him doing something he shouldn't have. These posts no way reflect those of mine. I am and have been considering a MH upgrade for my bio cube. I have a notebook next to my computer that says everything I am intending on doing, site references and opinions about things. One of my comments in my book was that nano-customs are expensive BUT thorough. I have no problem with this company and have heard nothing but good reviews. When the IRS sends me my check I will more than likely be purchasing a kit. I am sorry that I let myself be vulnerable to any sort of piracy, and I am even more sorry if my reputation has taken decline.
