I had to acquire a taste for coffee, beer, and wine. My life is now WAY better with them than it was without.
Explains the Mr.Coffee and Budweiser choices I guess. The wine you can keep as well.

If you can persevere until you like it, it should improve your quality of life, imo.
Perhaps, then again....perhaps we drop you off at the State penitentiary for a few months and see if you still feel that way.
I do think our tastes change as we age but seriously I have never understood, or even experienced "acquiring" a taste for something. If its good its good. How many times must you suffer through before you come to realize you were right in the first place- you just don't like it. Quality of life? You could have had something you really enjoyed all those times you were trying to acquire a taste for Haggis, mountain oysters or your old tennis shoes.
You chow down on that buddy.... I'll be over there with a pizza, my Sam Adams and I'll make myself a cup of great coffee when I get home
