Hopefully you don't have to wait as long as I've had to for chalk bass. They've been out of stock for quite a while. It's been long enough that I'm tempted to give up and try to find something else to get. Although, I guess patience is in order. I'll wait, wait, wait ........ wait, wait some more.

Sealife has chalk bass in stock and dd has posted pairs twice in the last week.

Now I've got the both of you joining DH in his conspiracy to get me to buy from SeaLife. My hang up is that I can get chalk bass locally for about $25 each, but no warranty. So, a pair would run me $50 at the LFS and $55 at SeaLife. I haven't seen anything on SeaLife's site about a warranty though. LA would be a bit more expensive (about $75), but the warranty on the fish make me feel much better about having them shipped. What to do, what to do.... Then again, I did get the red clown goby from the LFS, and it's had absolutely no trouble so far (other than being a very scared and picky eater thus far).

sealife has a 48 hr. guarantee iirc.

Yeah, same with PBs (or maybe it's 24 hours). I'm not so worried about a death from shipping stress, but more the time while in QT. That's the nice thing with LA's guarantee, because it covers the QT period. PB's usually has really healthy stuff, so maybe I'll snag a pair the next time I'm in, assuming they still have them.

I am probably going to get mine there, and maybe one of those saddled blennies, if I am feeling particularly frisky.

I have never seen them locally here. LFS's are not super awesome as far as selection goes.

the only real roadblock with a carribean biotope for the 90 is all the coral waiting to go in it and my wifes maxima, not to mention my kole tang and O. clowns, whom I very much.

Last time I saw this kind of stuff, it was a case filed in the U.S. Supreme Court for a trial (one of the rare times the Supreme Court has a case that isn't an appeal) between NY and NJ. My wife was talking to a girl that said she was from the "real south". Wife wife was like WTH! Texas is south. But then it was explained to her that Texas is the west .

Also, the lead tiger goby has learned that when I put the food bowl up by the tank and stir it with the turkey baster that it's feeding time. It swims over and sits by the glass next to the bowl watching and then swims up with the baster to eat. It's so cool.

FTR, the south is probably the worst place in the entire US. I know from experience....I am trapped here.
