Bah, I'm getting really aggravated with the upcoming Pico Contest, so I designed a new one in my head.
-Open Budget, no limits
-Categories for under 5.5g, 5.5-10g, 10-20g
-To enter you have to either put $25 in a pot or bring a Sponsor
-Focus on DIY and innovative new approaches to keeping a healthy, balanced reef
-6 month contest duration
There, I feel better now that I got that out of my system.
-Open Budget, no limits
-Categories for under 5.5g, 5.5-10g, 10-20g
-To enter you have to either put $25 in a pot or bring a Sponsor
-Focus on DIY and innovative new approaches to keeping a healthy, balanced reef
-6 month contest duration
There, I feel better now that I got that out of my system.
The rules sound better than the other one.
On another note diversden posted up all three pairs of gobies that I wanted, the bad part is they were all sold by the time I was able to get to a computer last night. Maybe they will post them up again today. It'd be great if I could buy them as pairs instead of trying to pair them up myself.

Hm, I do have the glass for a 7.5g that CM gave me. Does your mental pico contest allow for a sump as well? Depending on when it would start, I just might have to get in on this one!

I have a 5.5 I just drilled. Can I use that and hook it up with my office tank as the sump? I mean from what I read above there really is no rules except DIY and do crazy stuff. As far as $25 and a pot I did buy a pot for $25, does that count?

If we have enough WL peeps show genuine interest, I'll do it, and if that really happens, I'll come up with more defined rules.
I don't mind moderating something with WL ppl, there's less idiocy to have to Moderate here.

Yeah, I bought one of the 21W LED floods that I'm not even using yet and thought a pico contest would be fum, but when I went to the thread and saw how many pages it was and went to the last page and they hadn't even worked out all the rules, I dropped that idea like a hot potato.
