Is that too much to ask, that I get a good deal on that kind of stuff? And how many peeps are craving a magnetic stirrer anyway?

Two other things. Anyone have any experience with a clingfish? I've got an urchin in the jetties nano.
Also, has anyone ever used LiveAquaria.com's email notification app?

Magnetic stirrers are fun! I've used them in my chemistry labs.

I remember reading an article about clingfish; all I know is they need [long-spine] urchins to survive.

Well, I won the peristaltic pump. 20 bucks. Now I hope it's what I thought it was.
A magnetic stirrer works kinda like a magnetic drive pump. The container of liquid that you want to stir sits on top of what looks like a hotplate. You drop a teflon coated bar magnet inside the container and a magnet under the hotplate turns, spinning the bar magnet, swirling the liquid. They are adjustable for speed. The best ones also have a hotplate in combination, so you can heat and stir at the same time. Too cool, huh?
It's one way of keeping kalkwasser suspended, which is what I'm pumping with the peristaltic.
I'll have to try and find that article on clingfish. I'm trying to fill the 20L tank with lots of symbiotic relationships. So far I've got sexies in bubbletips, anemone shrimp in ricordea, goby/shrimp pair.
There's a venus anemone shrimp that will apparently host to Euphyllia, which I have a hammer in the tank now, so I'm getting it at the same time as the clingfish. There are clingfish here in Panama City Beach, in the bay, but they are gray and host mostly the bottom side of rocks, not too exciting.

For those who don't know, mvite and Needreefunds are almost entirely responsible for getting me started on Propagation of Zoas.
Mvite was all, "Yeah, yeah, sure, it's easy!"
And then Richie was all, "Hey, if I buy this frag and that frag and that other frag over there, then you can go buy those SEXAY colonies you found, amirite??!!!"
So I went and bought the Zoa colonies, they totally went south and almost crashed my entire system and I had this insane crash course in how to cure VERY unhappy zoas!!! (BibleSue helped too.)
And then there was the girl who wanted to pay me a lil extra to sneak in an extra Paly frag for her fiancee (arwndsh & dshnarw).
Weetie's Lounge peeps are the best, we've got some good history, huh?

One thing was learned for sure..
There is definitely something to be said about the health and survivability of aquacultured zoo ( or really any ) frags IMO.

In the last few years, most zoos that I purchased from fellow reefers have done very well, while LFS - hack-n-slice zoos have melted away in rather short order.

Well, I was up till 4 AM mowing the grass in my prop tank. I took out the egg crate that was covered in it & put in some other sections I had cut. It's the pits when you have people wanting to buy & you can't pass on your grass. I mean, how would it look.

Thanks for the kind words. I started my prop tank so I could get stuff & wanted & not have to miss lunch. Boy! Was I wrong. I have probably spent twice as much! I just got a PhosBan Reactor & a Sterilizer to try to clean up my tank after the DSB got plowed into by a bumped pump. Thanks Mr. Snail! Oh, well. I have them if I need them later.

BTW Where is my Chaeto? My inbox is so full with Bible & Robe orders that I can't find the email to see if the tracking is even working.

I was talking to Johnny at Reef Cleaners to fill in my CUC for my new tank & Contest Tank. I asked him why my dwarf ceriths all bit the dust. He said "Shrimp food?". NOW I know why this guy has lived so long without eating the aptasia & going after the mysis. Now that the snails & aptasia are gone he is coming after the mysis. He is now a BIG DUDE!!!

Well, here I sit in my Lounge Chair, watching a beautiful sunset over the pond & enjoying the night sounds & the peace & quiet in the Lounge.

Hummingbird!!!! I see you've been practicing.

YUP! Not near there yet. They kept coming to see if there was anything in the feeders so I stopped, cleaned them out & filled them today. I moved a third one to the front porch so the timid ones can eat when the bully is around. I love sitting here in my office watching them.

My LFS that has been bought by Sustainable Aquatics (http://www.sustainableaquatics.com/) is hiring.
I'd love to work there but working out a schedule that I could actually manage would be very difficult considering I have to share a car and childcare duties with a hubby that works 1:30-9:30.
