*sniff-sniff* *teary eyes*

I feel the love guys, Thanks so very much for the thoughts and prayers. grouphug.gif

Doctor said all went very well. Also said Crystal will be using his name in vain for the next 24-36 hours.

She required a rather large amount of pain meds after surgery, even the nurse was surprised how much they gave her.

So, we are all home and my girls are both now asleep ( one on an ice pack tongue.gif )

You guys are the best. grouphug.gif

Weetabix7
VERY glad to hear it!!!
I was just getting ready to PM you and ask how it went.
danktank
im very happy to hear all went well! I told ya there was nothing to worry about.

Also around 6 years ago i got 18 stitches in my forehead and they gave me a hefty dosing of morphine. the nurses were blown away by that.
BibleSue
So good to hear! Hubby didn't sleep well last night so I didn't either so I prayed off & on for the Drs & nurses not to be out partying etc. so they would be sharp. No WL jokes for awhile so he doesn't wake Crystal with uproarious laughter!
Needreefunds
laugh.gif

All went about as well as it could. Crystal is awake now and can make it to the bathroom on her own. She can also - um - "go"- with minimal discomfort so again, about as good as can be expected.

Her nurse was awesome, but kept making eyes at me. The attention and kindness shown to my daughter was outstanding, but yet the looks I kept getting made me rather uncomfortable.
Finally as Donna helped Crystal to get dressed to come home, I had to confront the nurse. I said I am a happily married man who would never dream of cheating on his wife.

All was well after that.

I mean, he seemed like a nice guy and all.....

tongue.gif hey ya gotta laugh right?

Thanks again for helping me through yet another mini crisis.

First 14 or so pgs of this thread.
That tank has been taken down and everything is now in a 20L, which is what my recent pics have been from.
viinse
Have you drilled your new tank yet?
BibleSue
I like the look of your new set up, Scott! Do you have a skimmer on it? I would suggest some chaeto on that sump! laugh.gif
SPerry
No skimmer yet, spent all my income tax check on the motorcycle. The chaeto is growing,

My other tanks.

20H w/ Sapphire HOB fuge.

NC12 w/ (unapproved) modded 150W NanoTuners hood and 10gal sump.

I don't have it yet.
It is currently serving as BibleSue's Prop Tank.
She will soon be taking it down and transferring it's contents to her new setup, and I'll get it from her after that.

Scott, you have beautiful tanks. wub.gif
What is that island of orange in the middle of the 20H?
SPerry
That is your Superman Monti, it is actually red. Camera phone has issues with the Phoenix 14K. But I am working on getting an actual camera soon.
Weetabix7
D R O O L !!!!!!!!!!!! wub.gif wub.gif wub.gif

Someday my tank will be stable enough for sexy sps....

That small, blue Acro frag I got from you in Nashville has faded. Oddly enough, it's grown though, full polyp extension, just faded.
The 2 Miami Orchid frags started to fade for the 3 weeks or so I had them under the Sundial T5HO, but it seems like they've been coloring up again in the last 2 days.
Prolly cause they're under BibleSue's TEK fixture at the moment.
SPerry
Hope the acro colors back up, it is really pretty. I never had much luck with SPS under T5s, an orange cap turned pink and has stayed that color even after going back under MH.
Lalani
Weets, are you watching House???? ohmy.gif

BibleSue's light is now in pieces on my kitchen floor. biggrin.gif
It's interesting to get a look at the innards of these fixtures.
I feel like a lil kid taking apart Daddy's radio to figure out how it works!

I'm being really careful to make sure I do it right.
I've never done any wiring or electrical work before, and it would just kill me if I managed to blow a ballast or some bulbs by wiring it up incorrectly.
I've been so busy working on the light, among other things, that I didn't even sit down to eat all day til 5:30.
Maybe someone can help me on this.
I can't figure out how to attach the grounding wire.
The ballast shows a place to connect it, but it has a metal loop on the end that won't fit into the ballast connection port.
On BibleSue's TEK, the grounding wire isn't connected into the ballast at all, but is attached to the bare metal housing of the fixture.
Ideas?

If you can't figure it out, you can bring it tomorrow & let hubby look at it. You are coming aren't you? Bring the boys Easter baskets for a hunt.
dtfleming
the ground wire from the power cord? you could attach it via screw to the a metal part or you need to find a connector to attach to the wire and then the spot on the ballast. Im surprised that it didnt come with something for that.

Hopefully the baskets are with the missing Bones DVD. Remember the impulse sealer so Lalani can claim her prize. We had a blast today! Wish you had been here.
