Yep!!
It actually has an "aquarium" setting on it, as well as an "underwater" setting that can be used if you buy a waterproof casing for it.
I'm taking it to BibleSue's house for the weekend and hope to get some good pics there.
Also got some good pics of my 2 yr. old "helping" me make coffee this morning, may post one later. happy.gif

Wow, thanks a lot!!!
You wouldn't believe how much of it is "thrown together", it's just that most of the organisms and live rock are stock that I've had for a while so they're stable and healthy.

looks great weetie. i have the same type of mushrooms that dopamine gave you. they seemed to have more color under lower light if that helps at all. mmmm.. i made cookies today too. biggrin.gif

I know, isn't that CRAZY???
Those shots are from the underside of it, if you can't tell. I had just put the Nudi in BibleSue's tank to take out a couple of her aiptasia while I'm in here, and it was cruising around the top of her tank right at the waterline. I just grabbed my camera and started shooting since it was right there. Didn't even have any tank lights on, just shot with the flash and ambient room light.
I am LOVING this new camera!!! I'll post another pic or two of the Berghia in a bit.

Here's a shot of the Pink Yuma I got from dshnarw a little while back. It's been getting a green "grass" plant growth on it that I actually kind of like. It hasn't been growing out of control or anything so I haven't worried about it just yet.

Some Bam-Bam's and one polyp of Nuclear Greens that grew onto the bottom of the aquarium. More "grass" in the background.

Another shot of the Brain showing the unusual plating growths on the side of it.

sometimes its all about the photagrapher. my gf showed me how to use mine and wow, my camera is 10 times better than i thought it was. my latest discovery.. MACRO and SUPER MACRO buttons lol.. nice.. and that i can zoom in til its blurry, and the camera will fix it for me after the shot. i used to stop once it got blurry on the view screen, now its a big blob and i click, walla.. perfect pic.. i've been posting pics thur her camera online lately, b/c my cord to the CPU (to upload from my camera) is at my parents house.. somewhere.. (great...) hope to post some soon tho. (btw, i have a olympus FE-280 w/ 8 megapixels)

You're fine bud, no worries.
I'm surprised you'd have a problem with that camera.
Before I got this new camera, all the pics I've been posting were taken on my sister's Nikon Coolpix L1, which is just an older model of what you have. Are you taking pics on the macro setting? (little tulip icon)
I got my camera for $189.99 from WalMart.com.

Wow, great pics as usual weetie! I loved the one where you could see the guts of the nudi and the "grass" adds a nice splash of green. If only I could find some good macros that don't grow like weeds!

Just have one.
They lay eggs to reproduce. I don't think this one will though. When I got it from the LFS, it was on the bottom of a rock right next to another nudi and there was an egg spiral next to them. In order for it to reproduce in my system, I think it would have to have already been carrying eggs or have another nudi in there with it.

So, one nudi controls the Aip population in your tank and can be loaned out at well, eh? That's pretty cool. About how long is it?

He's actually pretty good sized when stretched out, I'd say at least 2 inches.
I'd also say he's definitely grown since I first got him, I've kept him well fed!!!
I hope we can find him okay when it's time to get him out of BibleSue's tank and take him back to mine. I still have a few more aiptasia I need him to eat.

You guys are sweet.
The truth is, it's the camera, not me. This thing is awesome.
I've never felt particularly inclined to get "into" photography, but this camera sure is inspiring me!

Here's a pic of a frag I got recently from ReeFur. It took 3 days to get to me and most of it died, but if you look closely at the brown lump in the middle, you can see some little polyps on the left hand side. I'd like to note that the loss of most of the frag wasn't ReeFur's fault at all, he did a fine job packing it, it's just that it took so long to get to me.

Cloves maybe? And I believe those plating growths are a type of macro algae. I have something similiar in my tank. Are they kind of bendable, or completely stiff?

You are correct, they are Blue Cloves. I had heard of them but never seen them in person before this, and I was startled by how very tiny their polyps are.
As for the plating growths, I haven't touched them but I strongly suspect they are flexible.
They must also be non-photosynthetic since they were growing in extremely low light.

Why thank you sir!!!
I am quite happy with this tank right now.
Every time I get depressed over my troubles with the other one, I just sit down and observe this one for a little while and I feel much better!! happy.gif
I just noticed a few days ago that my various Euphyllia are splitting and forming new heads.
I have a Green Torch frag that I've had for at least 1 1/2 yrs. and it has never shown any growth in all that time. I have noticed in the last week that one of the heads is splitting into 3 and I can also see 3 tiny new baby heads growing out of the skeleton stalk as well.
I have a 1 head purple torch that I've had for almost as long, and it is now splitting into 2 heads.
My single head Frogspawn head has developed a second mouth and looks like it is splitting as well.
I feel relatively certain that this new growth is due to a higher level of dissolved organics in the tank.
I have had no fish for many years until January of this year, and then I added the Ocellaris Clown and Yellow Coris Wrasse within a fairly short period of time.
And now I am suddenly seeing an explosion of growth!!!
L34NN3
A little nitrate can be good wink.gif It could also be trace elements being added from the fish food that wasn't there before.

Plus you oscellaris could help - mine now actively feed my hammer. And its getting huge!

Yours is one of my top 3 tanks on the forum I think!

Actually, that's VERY in character for the little guy!
He's not quite sure how he's supposed to do ninja moves, so he improvises a lot!
I really hope the cloves pull through and really take off. I've never had these kind of cloves before, so I don't know what to expect as far as growth rates, etc.
Weetabix7
I just got home from being gone for 5 days, and this tank is looking AWESOME!!!!
I need to go away more often!
Hubby makes a great tanksitter. happy.gif happydance.gif
Those little cloves really had an incredible recovery while I was gone, and I can see a minimum of 20 polyps out now. They look like a tiny, little delicate field of purplish blue lace, very pretty.
Everything looks very happy, it looks like the kind of reef tank that I always envisioned having when I got into this crazy game many moons ago.
I'll try to get pics later.
Weetabix7
Alrighty folks, hope you're ready for another onslaught of pics.

First, we have the obligatory FTS. The first pic is taken with flash, the second with no flash.

I just put a 150w MH retro fixture with a Phoenix 14k bulb over this tank, which is why the pics look so blue with no flash. I've noticed that pics taken under Phoenix 14k with no flash actually look more blue than it looks in real life. The reality is that the color is probably halfway between the flash and no flash pics in person.

Now here's a pic from today of the beautiful blue cloves I got from ReeFur. As you can see, they are doing MUCH better. This pic is with no flash and is pretty true to the real life colors.

Weetabix7
The next shots are all of the central area of the tank, but from different angles. The first is with flash, the last two with no flash.

The long stalked cloves with the neon green centers are a favorite of mine, I got them from C7 several months ago when she was forced to break down her tank. I've had a heck of a time capturing the true color of their centers on film and this is the closest I've gotten.
The Monti with the orange polyps on the right is a frag that I got from dshnarw. The polyps really do kinda glow an intense neon peach like in the no-flash pics, and it has an orange base that seems to be it's natural color as opposed to something that is bleached out.
Weetabix7
The bottom right section of my tank, with Brain Coral, Blasto Merletti, a small furry Fire and Ice frag, and a purple mushroom or two:

Another close-up of my mushroom garden, with Pink Yuma, Purple Mushrooms, "Grass", and Red Macroalgae in the foreground:

This is a close-up of my Kenya Tree. I know they're considered a "basic beginner coral", but mine is so large and lacy looking that I think it really adds something to the look of the tank.

BibleSue
Great pictures but I must say it looks even better in person! tongue.gif
