I've never had a problem with cigarette's, but I do occasionally smoke a pipe. For some reason there is a huge difference in the act for me. I smoke a pipe when I am thinking about a hard problem or when I need to really relax, cigarettes feel dirty and cheap somehow.

Still sick but I slept for like 15 hours yesterday so I'm feeling a bit better. Chest colds are the worstest.

Hubby smoked a pipe for several years until recently.
It seemed to do the same thing for him that it does for Pyronus.
He quit over the summer and mentioned that he had more physical endurance afterwards, wasn't as short-winded.

I tried e-cigs before. The companies are so unreliable about having cartridges and stuff in stock it is hard to keep them up. We ran out of atomizers at one point and the company was backordered, so we just started smoking analog style again. I do like e-cigs though. I mean you can smoke anywhere, it's like being in an episode of Mad Men.

Whats the easiest way to ship Macro? All I've ever shipped is cheato and that method probably wont work for everything.

I just double bag it, throw it in a box with newspaper, and ship it UPS ground. I'll toss in a heat pack if it's chilly.

Hey Anne could you send me the name of the specialist you were talking about that resides in Atlanta? My sisters seizures are getting worse and her doctor isn't doing anything but uping her meds. Even though she has been having more and more seizures in her sleep the doctor has never once requested to keep her overnight in the hospital so that he could observe the seizures. I think she needs a new doctor.

In other news I had sent my engagement ring off to be repaired because one of the posts supporting the stone was thinning and a crack had appeared at the base. It came back with the post thickened and that crack repaired, two new cracks they didn't bother to fix, and now my stone has an internal fractured as well. I'll be going back to the jewelers either tonight or tomorrow to give them a peice of my mind.

oh snap, they screwed up your stone?! do you have the paperwork that showed the initial state of the stone so that you have ammo against them? imo they should replace it with something equal or better than what they screwed up for free.

you have no clue how pissed i would be if someone messed up my wife's diamond.

Yes DH I have the paperwork. The ring has to be inspected every six months for it to stay under warrenty and it was inspected right before they sent it off. Its just a lab created sapphire, but its my stone darnit. I was so pissed when I got home last night and noticed it but ofcourse it was too late to take it back.

I've had the ring for 5 years and I've had to send it off 5 times now. Twice to be sized down, twice for the same crack (including when I sent it off last week) and a loose prong.

My wedding band has gone in twice now for loose prongs. The only reason I keep using the same jeweler is the warrenty. If a stone comes out or is damaged they have to replace it.

Amber, it does not matter what the stone is, all should be treated properly, and if damaged the owner should be notified, and prompt replacement made.
Try and get some good photos of the stone and the cracks, and PM me links. I'll see if I can possibly tell you what happened.

Thanks Joe for the offer. I'll see what I can do about pictures. It doesn't look like it was caused my direct force because the external surface of the stone isn't damaged. The jewelers may not have noticed it after they sent it back because its hard to see without direct light. I probably only notice it because I've worn the ring for 5 years and have a tendancy to stare at it a lot.
