Feeling a little sad here.
A whole bunch of different things have led me to the point where I will be sellling off all of my remaining corals and just keeping a simple countertop SW Planted Nano, mebbe with a Frogfish at some point.
I listed a bunch of stuff on my local forum and will list more tomorrow.
Whatever doesn't sell locally will be offered to WL folks first.
I would strongly prefer that the Red Goniopora go to someone from WL.
It's a really special piece, something that almost no one manages to successfully keep in captivity, and yet this one has happily lived in captivity for something like 5 yrs. now.

fwiw weets, i think you're making a good decision. simplify your life a bit for a while and let yourself breathe. a small planted tank with a frogfish could be really pretty and easy to deal with. after some time you might be ready to build up from there.

Eh, it's a looong story.
Keep having tank issues crop up.
I do stuff to fix it and it works short term then reverts to an unhappy tank.
I've just gotten really burned out on working so hard to try to fix it without any appreciable results.
I've also had some big stuff going on in "real life" for a while now that I've needed to deal with and unsuccessfully trying to make my tank happy on top of that has proven to be too much.
It's just time for a break.
I'll come back to it when I'm ready and in a better place.

Coral Kitchen will be no more.
As for the Av change, that was a solo move on my part, I haven't tried to change the Av theme or anything although we can.
I'll probably keep mine as it is though.

Morning WL. Sorry for you bummerness. I hate tank issues. I have brown slime right now, I think from all the macros i just got biting it all at once. It's like the ones I have already gang up on new additions and kill them. Completely baffling. I think i just need to start dosing ferts. I dunno, it is disheartening though, that is for sure.
In other news if my scooters don't pair within 3 months, one is getting sold. Bastids just ignore eachother, and that is not entertaining for me. Don't they know that? They are supposed to hang out and be best buds. jeez.

I'd love to have the goni, but all my chalices and favias are acting funny so I don't want to add anything new. I think I'm just going to go back to softies and such. Although my torch and blastos seem to be fine.

Good luck Lisa. I'm in the scaling-back process right now too, so I totally understand. I'm even thinking about selling a car. 
Sometimes you just need to take a step away and get things back where you want them. Then, if you want to start over, you're in a better place to do so.

It couldn't do it forward, but it used to take care of tailgaters: My old Mazda RX7 would backfire on command and shoot pretty large fireballs out the exhaust pipes. It sounded like a gunshot too. It was awesome.
I used to do it under overpasses at night and everything would light up orange for a second, that car was fun.
