Hello,
Someone mentioned that the skimmate they're getting is too wet. This is normally from having the pump powering the skimmer being turned up to high and producing wet throth too quickly. Slow it down and it will produce a thicker skim - it will also take longer for the skim to collect .
Another thing to bear in mind with alot of the issues people mention with skimmers (when its a submersible one) is the level within the tank its set at. For example; people with RedSeaMax aquariums say lower the water line to a 1/4 inch below the frame to get the surface to skim better. They then say they're skimmer doesn't pull anything out - because its sitting too high above the water line!
One other major factor is the SG - the higher the s.g, the thicker the water (in laymans terms!)
Good luck!

WHA??? ON TOPIC POST?!?!?!??!?!?

So why is it the lounge doesn't get good until I go to sleep? I feel like I miss out on everything.

It doesn't help that we can only operate one computer on the internet at a time and with Daniel being the post whore that he is well.....you can see why I don't post until I am at work.
Thanks for the lullably too bad it didn't work on Gadget. He decided he didn't want to sleep so I shouldn't either.

To make matters worse its all dreary outside, makes me want to go back to sleep.
Hopefully we will hear something from the bank soon.
