Hi euphoricgear, thanks. Not sure if I post any pic of my sump in here in the past and I can't upload any right now as I am at work and I won't be online till friday.
Anyway, just share a link with pics of my sump. Mine is a very simple setup with just simple equipments. And my tank was built on a tight budget when I was still schooling 2 years ago.

Btw, my tank is L65cm by W60cm by H60cm / About L25inches by W24inches by H24inches.
Tank is about 61gal and sump about 30gal. So it adds up to about 90gal of water.

Lots of tiny white dots appear out of nowhere and they are moving at the surface when i was feeding my fishes and corals. Is so small that I can't really figure out what it was. There were so many! I think almost a thousand of them
Any idea what are those? Btw, my fishes were feding crazily on it too

Found 2 real tiny snails in my sump. Have no idea why or where it comes from!?

Ah hah, lol I didn't see the top left two and the bottom snail. Only saw the obvious ones lol!

How much did you get those blastos for? How much per head/polyp?

Doubt they would survive and shipping would cost and arm and a leg.

Oh man. For a colony that big its pretty cheap! If you seen my tank, I plan to have several blasots under my middle over hang. Its gonna kill my wallet. But over time if they grow, I can have a blastos garden!

Just found this thread...Amazing in everyway. Have just started my tank, a 29G Bio-Cube. I have stocked too many fish, which I am in the process of fixing. I want to start concentrating more on my corals...after seeing yours, you inspired me to start a zoa garden and a ric garden. My question is how should I initially place different zoa or ric frags, do I place them next to eachother to grow out, or start with them apart to let them grow together? Next once they are together like yours are, do they stop growing or will they overlap? Any help you could give me would be appreciated.

Thanks akabryanhall, and yes rics and zoas are very nice and colorful softies. What I normally do is to stick them close to each other but with abit of gap apart of about 1 to 2 cm apart for zoas and they will soon grow out to be together and some might overlap by abit. And for zoas, normally when place at the sandbed, they will not continue to grow out once they have grow to reach the sand. I mean they will not grow and spread on sand like gsp do. Of cos, actually If I got the space, I would space them more apart to let them grow more
As for rics, I would recommend to stick them about 3 to 5 cm apart. That is because the heads normally shrunk up quite abit when you stick and open up more when you in water. They will also grow quite big. My biggest ones is about 8cm in dia. Some will also split into more heads after sometime. So more space means they can grow more too. But soon, they will also grow to be beside each other just like a ric garden. and also to the extend that some might overlap each other by abit too.

But overlapping by abit is not much of a concern for zoas and rics. Cos you are putting the same family of corals together so they will not kill or over take each other

Yeh! I've got myself a new blue neon goby over the weekend. This new little guy is not shy at all and always stays towards the front of the tank. Will take some pics soon.

Now I have a total of 4 gobies! I am crazy about them!

Thanks m'akoyPINOY, I guess I was lucky as I always hear others say that their neon gobies are shy and always hids. Cos mine stays right at the front of the tank the very moment I put him.

Neon gobies are one of the coolest fish out there, nice choice!

Thanks SeeDemTails, lol. But surprisingly my blue tank dun really like the neon. Always chase the neon away when it's gets near his gills. But the neon just never gives up and keeps coming back to the Blue Tang. Real funny to watch.

Yeah my tang does the same. I guess he will like him on his terms!
