Hello everyone, hope I have some pretty warm welcomes here to the 40b club! I will be moving livestock over, possibly over the weekend. Depends on how everything pans out in the new tank. I want to make sure temps are stable, salinity is good etc etc. My livestock that will be coming over is as follows
1 medium Maroon Clownfish
1 4 stripe damsel (acquired did no want.. but do watcha do to get free corals)
1 watchman goby
1 pistol shrimp
1 firefish
assorted CuC from Johny +1
I would like to add another fish or 2 or 3.. Not real sure on the selections yet. I love the 6 line wrasse and they are aggressive enough to hang out with my mates. I've debated introducing another maroon to see if they will make buddies.. But the damsel and clown appear to be best buddies now terrorizing the entire tank together.
My powerheads I have are..
1 Maxijet 1200
1 Koralia nano 425
& filter AC50
moving ~ 900 gph. I think this should be sufficient but will soon find out when the livestock is moved.
My lighting, I Scored a free 2x65w Power compact fixture, I think I will keep my 24" T5HO over top in combination with the PC fixture.
Sorry for the long winded post..
here she is cycling with just the pc
