So far it's not a big deal, defrosting a mysis cube takes more time than cuting a leg.


I'll try to get some pics tonight if it's not too late, but I added 2 more croceas, 2 more harly's, a target mandarin to keep my flat worms in check (flat worm exit didn't do jack... ???), another candy cane frag, and have another 2 croceas and 1 derasa to pick up tonight on the way home. My 3 acan frags were lost with UPS for a day and are scheduled to be delivered some time today. I hope it's not cold, 48 hours in a box is a long time even for an acan.

Well, just when I think it's complete I go out and buy more frags, 8 to be exact! There are 1 Acan, 2 Blastos, 1 Micro, 3 Enchinada's (orange, rainbow, and purple w/ lime green eyes) and a Chalice. I'll post pics as soon as I get some taken.

And here's the pics. The deadline is tomorrow, so this should do it.

yeah, dual Dell 1907's (one for AutoCAD, the other for xcel or internet or any other references). Pretty nice setup, perfect for checking out your tank (too bad I don't have a third monitor, then I could see it almost life-size).

Well I think I might have my Calcium levels figured out... Currently adding about a teaspoon of SeaChem Reef Calcium every other day! I can't believe how much Ca this baby is sucking up!!!

I love this tank and I have been following it from the beginning. With the shrimp how often do you feed it the CC star legs?

Thanks irishtexan I typically feed them when they "look" hungry... They will start coming out a lot more and actually will swim around the tank. From the last leg to these legs it was about 2 weeks.

Just curious about what you feed the cc stars in the rear chamber to keep them alive? How many legs can you cut from a star without killing it?

Pretty cool if you can keep that regenerating food supply going.

Thanks aacm, I'm not feeding the stars anything and not sure how many legs you can cut, I've did two at once on this star and he's still alive, we'll see what happens in a week or two when I need two more legs.

Not sure if it will regenerate fast enough to keep up with them, but as long as it stays alive long enough to feed them for 4-6 weeks then I'm happy. I couldn't feed anything else live food for less than a dollar a week.
