Wow, 13 more bags? Your going for that no room to grow in look huh? biggrin.gif

LOL! Kind of, going for the no room to mount or place anything, but still have room for everything to fill in. smile.gif Figure the contest is about growth so the next 3 months will be about maximizing growth. Can't add anything after 1/15 but there is no mention of removing or fragging. wink.gif

LOL! Yeah get'm good! laugh.gif

I use my router on every edge and for routing out the center of the eurobrace... I weld everything with a little overhang and then cut it flush; that way I ensure everything lines up perfectly. smile.gif
mybuickskill6979
awesome. not only that but i would thing it makes rounding the edges and smooth them a little easier with a litle over hang. im waiting on a shipment to come in so i can mess around with some glass and save for the tablesaw and the router i can't wait lol. then its on to acrylic baby hehe!!

Some more zoo's got even more than what I'm showing in pics...

Some more blasto's...

Another Acan...

and another...

got this frag on Saturday, fed it on Saturday and now on Tuesday here it is with another polyp already (just below the largest one)...

Thanks, Bangaii is doing well, eating like a pig. As for the blenny and watchman, they have jumped into the overflow box and I can't get them out. sad.gif I hope they enjoy their new/boring home. huh.gif

whats your secret in keeping those bangaiis? i tried keeping them two times already and both were unsuccesful.

??? Won't call 6 days a success but not sure what the secret is... I'm just target feeding mine mysis, not hard since he's the only fish in the display. Maybe they just like to be pampered? smile.gif Don't we all? biggrin.gif

Thanks, but didn't know they looked yellow? Maybe it's your monitor? Pics and tank both look pretty white to me; the color of the tank is a 50/50 mix of 11k and Actinic...

Some of the rocks in the middle have a yellow hue to them, that's just the color of the rock... The sand is white, the coraline is green, red and purple and corals look true color. huh.gif

Okay, I guess you just had to open your mouth... Not sure what is up with Bangaii's but apparently my luck is no different than everyone else's. The only fish I have left are my blenny and watchman which are in my overflow. Guess I'll trade them in and get some shrimp. sad.gif

LOL! Dude, don't say that, now I feel bad. sad.gif It's a lot easier with a great local club helping out and some great LFS's that don't gouge. biggrin.gif
TEALCOBRA
Yeah, I definitely know what you mean, I have just recently started getting involved with our local club and my corals in my tank have doubled over the past month, but yet my wallest isnt much thinner... Its a GREAT idea for anyone to try to find a local club and get involved with them. smile.gif
mybuickskill6979
dude i would love to find one in the SGV but there isn't one. i don't think i'll have to hit up Phix and see if theres one around. but a club would kick ass.
calvin415
Best thing for anyone is a local club, if you don't have one in your area, start one! biggrin.gif

I think it's time to trade in the goni before the coral deadline... It's just too big for my little nano. sad.gif I'll post some pics of what ever replaces it...
mybuickskill6979
haha!! dude i would love to have a 150 g reefer. with two or three 250w mh fixtures lol!!!
mybuickskill6979
how do you go about starting one? just say hey dudes lets call our selves a club?
calvin415
It doesn't have to be a formal club w/ due etc... Just a group of people who trade/share frags and talk about different techniques. smile.gif Maybe get together once a month at someone's house and oogle at each others tanks while eating munchies. wink.gif
mybuickskill6979
very true. but hows about if we wanna open the club to everyone locally? through advertisement in fish mags or what ever?
calvin415
I'd just start word of mouth, LFS's and some online boards both here and on RC.
mybuickskill6979
awesome scott, advised as well that i could hit up an established club and see about starting a chapter here as well. i will wait till i get my tank set-up because a reef club where the founder doesn't have a tank sounds sort of retarded lol!! dude everything so far is gonna be off the chain! dude NR.com rocks !!
calvin415
Guess I'll post an update, I traded my Goniopora, and fish (watchman and blenny) yesterday... I still need to find some replacement corals as last week's fish/coral shippments came in dead at the LFS's due to the blizzard in Colorado last week... Sad news is that we are supposed to get hit again tomorrow night. sad.gif Oh well, I have loads of Florida rics and a couple more Acan Lords coming next weekend and I'll find some more stuff to fill in the Goni gap by then too. Man the 15th of Jan is approaching fast!!!
sandlot13
good luck with the snow again!
calvin415
Thanks, yeah I got buried once again! sad.gif Really sucks cause all the LFS's cancel their orders as they wouldn't make it otherwise... I hope I get the last of my stuff before the deadline.

I added a harlequin shrimp last night and a few small florida Ric's. I hope to add some more corals in the next few days, and I'll post some pics when I get some decent shots.

sandlot13
Loving the harley!!!! ive always wanted one of those. Are you feeding it chocolate starfish legs?
calvin415
Thanks, mybuickskill6979

Sandlot13, Haven't fed it anything yet, but planned to starting tomorrow. smile.gif If all goes well, there will be another one or two harleys to join this one. Have another couple acan lords that will be here on Tuesday morning and I hope to add a couple more small crocea's if the LFS can get them in before the deadline. biggrin.gif Gonna ditch a couple of the more ugly zoo frags to make room for growth I think. Losing interest in a few of them and the way the acans are growing, I might need the room sooner than I hoped.

Yeah it was pretty cool! Hope to get some CC stars tonight along with 2 more harlys.

I also have a harly, it went through a cc star in about 2 weeks. Down to the last nub. It was cool to watch. It pins the cc down and its on it. and stays on it till theres no more left. The best part about my harly is that I only paid 3.50 for it. cool.gif
mybuickskill6979
SWEET!!
ChrisS
I love the harly. I'd like to have one but the idea of having to buy all those starfish for it is daunting. Its on my 'maybe someday' list. smile.gif
