Before I started set up this tank,I used to have 10G tank before then I transfered all the corals to this new tank, also with the old T5HO 6x24watts.But it seem that old lamp can't provided enough light to my new tank so i had to changed a new one, Eco lamp was the first lamp that crossed my mind at that time due to the color of corals when it got hit by the blue LED light.

Before that I added blue LED bar while waiting for Eco lamp.

Tank looks great. Glad to hear you didn give up after your bio pellet incident. Seems like we all have bumps in the road. But it looks like it's grow back nicely. Keep up the good work.

Wow, this tank is epic. Words can't describe how beautiful your tank is and after looking at your pics, your set up is now my new #1 favourite by far. Where did you buy the light fixture and what brand is it?

The LED lamp brand is Eco lamp size 12 inches, equivalent to MH 400 watts, work will with shallow tank as you all know that LED light can't go deep as same as MH or T5HO. The side of the tank didn't get much intensive light so proper for place corals that don't require light too much.As shallow tank like this, only 13 inches, don't have much difference light intensity between top and bottom. So using 12" lamp with 24" tank and let the side of the tank get lower light is a good option if you want to have various type of coral that require difference light intensity (I placed all NPS coral at the side of the tank). Lifted the lamp 1 feet over the water surface.

Now I do have some problem with the color of LPS coral under LED light, The bright color of orange Acan seem to fade away. As I read from many source,Eco lamp LED light lacks some light specturm(due to no deep blue or deep red light bulb) that coral need (Chlorophyll A) . But it can be found in MH and T5HO so I would add T5HO as addition light for my tank then wait and see that the color of LPS will recover or not. Still working on the T5HO light bulb.

I'll update the present pic of the tank lately. Thanks you all for supported. :D

love your dendro colonies

Normall they extend all the time but I didn't frequency feed it,that's why they always extend only when the main light is shut. I have try to dip it in the cyclop for about 10min per time but they still not extend in the full light as usualT_T
