Basketball Prodigy
Hello, I have just started my 75 gallon reef tank about three weeks ago. It was an upgrade from my 29 gallon BioCube, of which all my corals and my fish were transferred from. I plan on keeping this journal of my tank with pictures and write-ups whenever I get the chance . I am normally busy with basketball and school so if I have a moment I will update. I will take a monthly FTS to show the progress of my tank and take multiple pictures of the livestock. Any comments, advice, or opinions about my tank are welcomed. Livestock Fish: -Blue Damselfish: Napolean and Pedro (2) Corals: LPS: - Acan Echinata (Colony) - Acan Lord (Frag) - Brown Plate Coral - Hammer Softies and Leathers: - Kenya Tree Coral - Red Sea Xenia Polyps: - Green-Striped Mushrooms - Unknown Palythoa - Mint Chip Zoas - Eagle Eye Zoas - Radioactive Dragon Eye Zoas - Ricordea Florida Invertebrates: - Maxi Mini Carpet Anemone - Dwarf Blue-legged Hermit Crabs (Unknown amount) - Red-legged Hermit Crabs (Unknown amount) - Trochus Snails (5) - Turbo Snails (2) - Nassarius Snails (5) - Mexican Turbo Snail (3) - Dwarf Brittle Stars (Unknown amount) The tank was built into where my closet used to be, who needs one anyway. Here is a picture of what it looks like Acan, green-striped mushroom, and a little bit of the Maxi-Mini FTS 1/21/12 FTS 3/22/12 FTS 3/27/12 FTS 3/30/12 Link to comment

Basketball Prodigy
Lovin the open space. I'd like to have a tank, 75/125 gallon and only have rock to either one side or both sides and keep the center open. Thank you, that is exactly what I'm trying to do. I plan on making the right side SPS and LPS and the left side Softies. The middle will be a zoa garden in the sandbed. TV right above your fish tank? lol lucky boy whats lighting this thing? Ha ha, thanks. It is lighted by two 50/50 ReefBrite LED's, I plan to keep mostly Softies and LPS but some SPS would be nice. Link to comment

Basketball Prodigy
Pics? So I've decided that taking an FTS of a 4 foot long tank is pretty challenging. Therefore here are some random pics of my tank I just took on my phone. Plate Coral Xenia Maxi-Mini Carpet Anemone Right Side Rock-Scape and LPS Frag Garden When I find the charger for the other Nikon Camera I'll use that, but until then I'm stuck with my phone for uploads. Basketball Prodigy
Today I saw a porcelain crab in my tank, it must have hitch-hiked in there. It looks really sweet and was wondering if it could cause any problems in the future. Link to comment

Basketball Prodigy
Nah, porcelains won't do anything. Okay thanks, I just noticed it and then it took off. Haven't seen him since and I was really hoping I wouldn't have to take him out. Link to comment
Basketball Prodigy
Well another reefer gave me about 13 pounds of liverock from a tank he took down about a month ago. Is it safe to wash it off and put it in my tank. At my LFS it would have been $104 so I just wanted to know if it would be okay. Link to comment
