Welcome to

TRON's SPS Legacy

Well, what else would anyone do when their significant other only allows them a certain space or area for toys? Improvise with a BioCube that fits where I was allowed to put it! Did most of the usual mods for flow and filtration, got a nice chemistry going. Powered by InTank filtration and lit by Aqua Illumination, there's no stopping how far this cube will go!

The Setup/Equipment

Thanks. Waiting for the T5/LED hybrid from tuners before adding much else.... Levels are all stable, little tweaking, can't friggin wait, already have sick stuff on hold at LFS with wild colors that will pop like whoa!

i would recommend slowing down, letting the rock cure and building the levels needed to maintain a bioload like you already have. good luck.

I agree, you did add things pretty quickly after setting up the tank. I look forward to watching your Zoas grow as they are some of my favorite corals. Keep us updated with plenty of pictures!

Ya the rocks were all from a running tank and were brought over with some of the water... All my levels are on point, so few hardy fish and corals, what the hell :)

finally got rid of the gigantic cool shaped rock and have so much more room.....

coral beauty is adapting nicely to the small tank, and added the anemone for the clowns...price was too good to pass up. add a brain as well.

Looks fantastic dude! :)

How much did that brain cost you?

$50, other places either didn't have them, some had half dead ones... One store had 3. Got 1!

Coral beauty in a 14g cube? :(

Ya y not, he's happy

How do you know? ;)

Ah yes. And a more productive tip. Go ahead and put the temp probe in one of the rear chambers.

looking good, +1 on slowing down with stocking. keep up the good work.

Thanks, went to barrier reef, good stuff, but not knowledgeable staff and cuz I didn't know at he time, bought a bleached anemone.

Reef zone in plantation is a nice store too.

You really do need to slow down and take the time to research. Buying a bleached GBTA is one thing but taking an already bleached anemone and putting it in the worst environment also is something different.

Your stock looks really good but the tank seems way to young. Anemone need an established tank and your barely looks old enough to have gotten out of the diatom cycle.

its in the plantation plaza there by university where the chicken kitchen is, starbucks, "the freeze" ice cream, and publix...i just liked them for some reason. werent pushy but knew theyre stuff...

theres another one called blue seas by sunrise and university but there selection is eh" and some stuff not good quality, and overpriced.

i got the brain from reef zone, had good looking corals. if you get on their email list you get discounts and stuff...
