so its been awhile since ive been on . some of you may remember me in a very paniced state lol. i had a kid dump alk tester in my tank . it put my tank into a cycle and now i am still battleing with gha ,but ive decided to finally start a tank thread

this is briggs hes helping me with my algae problem ,hes not exactly a social flower

a couple of mussels that have zoos growing on them they are pretty cool

not sure about these either ,look expensive though

it looks good im glad every thing is going good now. just wondering what type of fish is that the one that you call briggs?

wow he made it through the attack? thats amazing! how bad was the cycle?

well im not sure , it caused a die off ,the diotom explosion , i quit careing for a week or two and when i finally brought myself to do some more w/c's and clean the glass and dump the skimmer cup , the gha had pulled all nit. and phos out lol . but now its got a serious foot hold in my tank

so i added phosban and seachem's purigen yesterday , i wasnt sure on how much i should put in so i just put the whole bottle in . there is enough to treat a fifty gallon tank for six months lol ,hopefully this will pacify the gha,
