Hello!

I just posted for help on my 10 gallon reef tank a few days ago.

The ammonia had gotten up to 1.5 or so. The tank ended up dying and a few corals died. The rest are at the LFS right now. They offered to hold them for me. I have two clowns, two blue legged hermits, and two zebra turbos in the 10 gallon right now with the ammonia still high.

I'm doing the proper dosage of Stability. How long should I go before putting my clowns and inverts into the big tank?

And how's my aquascaping? I can never stack rocks perfectly like the LFS or anyone else on this forum can. Should I move any rocks anywhere?

Due to many circumstances, I was forced to put my two perculas, two turbo snails, and two blue legged hermits in the new tank. It's only the second day...

Do you think they'll survive?

Will the tank still cycle properly?

They should be fine...just do a soft cycle on the new tank..do a 2g water change every 3-4 days till the tank stabilizes and catches up with the bio load.

did you use some of the sand from your 10g? add a cup full if you haven't already :)

lookin' good!

I've finally updated this post!

Before today, it just said that I had only set up my tank.

I made a large order from Blue Zoo Aquatics. Excellent service!!!

The only thing that died (out of the 18(i think) things I ordered) was my cleaner shrimp.

Everything else is healthy and on my purple acropora, there is even an acropora crab!

Tell me how you like it!

Oh and I had a weird kind of kelp grow from one of the rocks. It has little air sacks and long leaves that look like they have some kind of polyp that grows all over them. And they grow really fast.

Anyone know what it is? I can put some pics up if you'd like.

Nice Tank!

Do you have any problems with your sixline wrasse picking at your filter feeders?

Nope. He's really peaceful with everything in the tank.

Love the tank. How do you like your LEDs? I just ordered some actually.

I love the LEDs. They have an awesome shimmer that no other lights can give to a tank. The only problem is that my fixture is only about a foot long so most of my corals die on the back side because there is not enough light. I'm planning on making some weak lights to put on either side of the LED fixture to give the tank some more light on the side.

Where did you get that LED fixture?? iv seen the exact same kind at southwest reef co

Yep! I got this one at southwest. I am very impressed with it. My only concern is that it's pretty heavy and all I have to support it is my thin glass top.
