Besides a 6-line, what other type of fish cruises the rockwork (in and out of caves, through gaps and holes, you know the drill). I'm looking for something that doesn't just hover or perch. I just keep hearing eveyone tell me to skip the warsse because it'd be too aggressive in a 14 gallon tank. I had one in a 120, a 90 and 65 and he was awesome (and fat as a pig--almost 8 years old when i sold him) and love them but if they aren't possible in so small of a tank I'd rather just skip.
So give me some suggestions; what are firefish behavior? I've had Royal Grammas in past but don't remember how they behave...never had dottybacks but keep hearing how you can't keep any other fish with them... This post has been edited by 6-line: Nov 7 2009, 10:19 AM -------------------- |

sad, took me a minute to decipher ^ line.
Firefish are awesome at doing teh suicide dive out of the tank. I have never found them to be terribly active they just sort of hover. They are very pretty though. The only royal gramma I had kept munching on my inverts, but he was always active. No love for clownfish? edit: Check this out. I've kept clowns in the past...i guess I like them but perhaps kind of boring...overpriced around here because i remember TR ocellaris going for $15 now they want $30...I used to have a mated pair...they are the quintessential reef fish you see eveywhere...maybe... No argument on quintessential reef fish, but they never fail to entertain me You could go with the other mega common choice of a yellow watchman -------------------- Please help out a fellow reefer with a graduate school project by clicking the link below
