i dont have a unit yet but i dont know what i would do with the wastewater, i keep freshwater but i have inverts in all of my tanks and wouldnt want excess copper in any of my tanks.
a crazy idea i had was to hook it up to the toilet but i figure that would limit my water making amount. i dont have plants or a lawn that i would water

I feed mine back to the water treatment plant! I have a lawn but watering it with a bucket would take forever, I wish I had an easy place to use my waste water, but right now I don't.

All of your water goes through a sediment filter and a carbon block or two before going through the RO membrane - it's pretty clean water. You'd just have harder water than your tap, but it should be perfectly fine for most of your FW tank needs.

goes down the drain to be reclaimed by the water facility. those who use waste water for outdoor use are making us lose water to groundwater/storm drains.

I just set up my unit but I have enough waste water line to run it to my swimming pool for top off water when the pool's uncovered. This time of year I either catch it for plant watering or just let it go back into the ground. I'm on a well so I figure it's kind of like recycling it?
