Do you have a clean up crew? What are your tests showing?

So far they have remained the same. The tank has been up for a week and a half. The rock came from a larger tank that someone was breaking down. So I'm not sure if I am really going to cycle or not.

So I'm not sure if I am really going to cycle or not. everyone has a cycle even if its not noticible. just wait it out a other week and if you'd like try to get a few snails or hermits(cuc) and throw them in there. no fish just yet. -------------------- |

Is this getting out of control? Just wait if you wanna see out of control... your sand is still way too clean... just wait. I would def recommend some blue leg hermits to eat some of that hair, i would wait till the 3 week old mark tho. You need lots of snails too, ask John @ reefcleaners about that... -------------------- |

Wait about another week or 2, your tank is still new and algae blooms will happen, then get yourself a turbo snail, he'll mow all that down in no time.
