longitudinal fission not Pedal laceration., Whats up here? Options

I`v had this Anemone for almost two years now and its very well behaved.

Its small, as i`v already posted in previous threads and its tentacles look rather like
BTA tentacles.

I however believe it to be a majano of some kind.

I had initially expected it to undergo Pedal laceration like an Aiptasa at some point.

This however does not seem to be occurring at all.
Instead, just this morning it had undergone longitudinal fission,
The form of dividing expressed in Larger anemones such as the BTA, Condys and other non-pest
anemones.

I did not even see it occur.
However i now have 2 anemones of this species which are the same size, Both of which are expressing
a dividing point on the body.

What does this mean exactly?

I think it looks kind of like a seabae anemone.

looks like majano to me
in my experience sebae dont split often, and when they do they are usually pretttyy big (although thats just my experience)

but please wait until someone more experienced with majano chimes in before you kill it etc. (ive never had a majano)
I would hate for that to happen on a wrong id from my dumb self.

Even if it is a majano i probably still won`t be killing it.

Remember, It took this animal almost two years to reproduce.
And it did not even use pedal laceration to make small clones.
Instead it split in half.

Prior to it spiting it got to reach a good size for a small anemone like this.
It was bigger then a Canadian two dollar coin at least.

I have a couple majanos that look similar to that. Started as one tiny one and is now two 3/4" across ones after several splits and killing off a couple extras. They grew like mad when I used to feed them but if I just leave them alone they hardly grow at all. Plus it is an easy way to get rid of zoa nudibranches or whatever, they will eat just about anything I shoot at them with a turkey baster.

I think they look pretty cool and I don't consider them to be pests.
