3/4" Overflow Pipe

I am planning to add a fuge to my 20H upstream so the fuge overflows back the the main tank.

Does anyone know whether the 3/4" overflow pipe and fittings are reef safe as I know many other plastic plumbing fitting (admitedaly for drinking water purposes) are impregnated with an anti bactrial / anti algal agent.

Also anyone got any idea what the maximum flow I could return through this pipe.

Cheers!

a 3/4" overflow bulkhead mounted vertical on the glass will allow for a max of 164 gph @ 3/4" depth (waterline at the top of the bulkhead, no surface extraction).

As to the toxicity, coulldnt tell you. If it is 'food-safe' it should not contain any anti bacterial or fungal compounds, and should be fine. When in doubt, just buy one. The bulkhead kits can be had for a few bucks from multiple online retailers. Personally, I prefer nothing smaller than a 1" overflow, so that if some crap clogs it it stilll has some 'breathing' space.
