Asureef
I'm thinking A. tenuis as well. A. echinata normally will have a more delicate elongated coralites. Link to comment

albertthiel
Reminds me of a tenuis almost, I thought echinatas had a more single thin branch look. A good link to them ( A. echinata ) http://www.thesea.org/acropora/acropora_echinata.htm Link to comment

Yeah, sometimes it can be difficult to distinguish the differences from a photo. When you have you both species in your tank, the difference is quite apparent. The coralites on a echinata are thin and delicate. And, judging by the second photo, I would still guess A. tenuis or others that can hold a resemblance like Acropora batunai, subulata. But, I'm no expert. Link to comment

ALexpsycho
For me it looks like a lokani 20K deepwater acropora. The problem with BP is they remove NO3/PO4 too quickly and you have to stock with a descent amount of livestock and heavy feed the whole tank to balance...We nano reefers are not used to this... Also they need to be near a very good skimmer to remove some bacteria...also they need A.carbon..in the same chamber just for protection...(sulfates ect...) The Biggest problem is you get RTN when alkalinity goes above 8,5-9 dKh and you have to keep it stable at 7-7,5 dKh just like the Zeo method. My version as i try explain this phainomena is strong lighting and very clear water...the coral cant protect it self and collapse. If you close lighting when this occurs you ll probably buy some time. However it is very difficult to save a coral when it starts collapsing... I use some products from KZ like the Coral Vitalizer and Pohls Extra..but I am keeping params with the Balling method...also AA. Keep it stable and stir... Try to meassure pottasium as zeolithes have the habbit to remove K from the water column...However after some time they give SPS corals an amazing color... Salifert has a new easy and very accurate test. Link to comment

Very well thought out tank Thank you, I have change a few things since it's beginning, I would say it has been re-thought out ) Im setting up a new tank and i was wondering from where you purchased your lights, thanks. The lights are Vertex Illumilux LED x 3. I got them from J&L Aquatics in Canada but there are many USA retailers amazing tank!!!! Thank you for the kind complement. Still AEFW free if I may ask? I hope so for you as it has been quite a job to get rid of them! As far as I know the AEFWs are not a problem any longer in my tank however, I am not fully convinced they do not exist in my tank. I do think the Zeovit Flatworm Stop has aided somewhat in keeping the AEFW's from returning. I see no new signs of their presence. Hopefully they are never coming back. Link to comment
