I didn't know you had a yasha goby?!?!? That's so awesome. I've been thinking of getting one. How do you like yours? The Yasha was my first phish Dirty, I've had him the longest. Barely mention him because he's always been hiding, very timid/shy fish. I was jealous of KG's Yasha gobies, always out and about showing off. Well every fish momma has her day, today is mine! I have to say he's my favorite fish, mostly because he has made me cry quite often so I'm sorta attached by the fin to him. I just wish he did not hide so much. The color of the polyps is incredible. Yup, changed color too, when you sent it to me it was like a peach, now it has a gorgeous dark green center and 2 small babies. Always luv'n the pics! Jason Fox Poker Star Monti Dec 9 2011 with beautiful green polyps Jan 31 thought it was dead (frag on the extreme left) I removed it at the point and put it somewhere it was starved of light and really died. Not sure what made me pick up the frag plug and stick it back on the frag rack. 2 weeks later GREEN POLYPS and some of the flash showing color again! The condensation on the screen has dissapeared. Wow. If you haven't been following the drama on NR today: this post should be titled don't mess with Texas since I'm in Dallas ATM! After reading on DPatrols thread this morning that some contestants and their friends in this POTM contest were sending messages to total stangers for votes, I decided to pull my entry from this contest. I PMd Chris Marks this morning that I had PMd my friends to support me and that I did not want to be in a contest with unethical conduct. I did not mention any names. CM posted in the afternoon on DPatrols thread asking people to PM him about anyone soliticing votes. That got one other contestant removed too. I think the decision was fair. I don't mind the ridiculous hate PM received accusing me of slander and BS, that's normal. What I find amusing is the 'ive never been nothing but nice to you' coming mere days after a very public name calling, suggestions of me being anything other than someone sophisticated. And decent. Not to mention PMing people that you have never interated with to vote, spamming threads, posting for the heck of posting. Whoa. Can't possibly have a fair contest against those odds with my personalized PMs while I'm at a trade show and out of town. So at 31 votes, while the nearest competition was at 35, I made a choice. Did I cut my nose to spite my face? Never. It just wasn't important enough to win a dirty race. Did I inadvertantly expose the game? Yeah. In even more hilarious news, Tank Sitter called at 8 am to say that my DOG (referring to my cat Bogi) is just playing me with his complaints about his food. TS had fed Bogi a 'healthy' can of food while Bogi turned his nose up at and meowed about for hours. This morning the bowl was licked clean. My poor kitty kat! Quote Link to comment
