In fact i told my girlfriend to come upstairs and look at my sexy tank. She told me that its OK to call her sexy... just not my tank i got a piece of LR yesterday and just set in on the bottom. it is not in the spot i will keep it in... i just didnt want to cause a cloud storm again. I only ask because my light seems to have quite a bit of purple too - and I don't have the extra blue strips yet. I like the color the way it it is now - I may just get one all blue and one more of the whi/blue like the three strips I have now. hola owls head =) Leds are hard to photograph for some reason. i changed my shutter speed and AV a bunch until i could match the shot the best i could to what it looks like in person... i think my shot is running just a touch to the blue side of what it really looks like i ran just 3 mixed to see what that looks like and it had the purple like what you are saying... but that all blue really adds a ton more blue... so if you like your look with 3 mixed strips i would definitely not add the blue and maybe add 2 more mixed... but if you like the way mine looks add a full blue and a mixed... that's what i am running i have read about a guy that ran 3 mixed and 1 white and one blue and he loved the color it brought. I like the actinic look and am pretty happy with my combo hope that helps... i see i am kinda just rambling Link to comment

My L-far-FS let me pick a piece from the main system and i should have thought about the aiptasia i had seen a few tanks down on the same system. Its OK.. I'm getting to be pro at killing the bastards nice job, id be interested to find if the 5 light strips are enough for SPS... He is in a hard place to reach and has the reflexes of a . he keeps getting bigger and bigger. I use the aiptasia x... got some of that stuff on mt Monti cap and it killed the cap in that spot. it recovered but i wasn't happy about it Link to comment
