rickjg
Two steps forward and one set back is how these things get done. I am sure you will figure it. You have plenty of time before Aug 31st. Yea, I was kind of freaking out, thinking I had to have all the corals in by April 31st. But now I can sleep at night since I have more time to get my s#*+ together. Link to comment

Yeah, I'm up to my eyeballs in soccer right now, so mine is slow going - I can also relate to the mess thing - you should see my dining room tables (I have too and they are both covered with parts! Fortunately, my spouse is as bad as I am, if not worse). Sorry to hear about your heating disaster, though. Link to comment
rickjg
.................................... I finally had some time to setup the pico on my desk at home. Have the PAR 38 pendant hung instead of using the wallymart lamp. .................................... Drilled a hole in the desk for the supply & return hoses. Also drilled holes for 2 ATO tubes which will be powered by Aqualifters on timers. Have two so I can dose 2-part with my makeup water. .................................... Using a Current Prime 1/15HP chiller, mainly so I can plug the heater into it as a temp controller after my last overheating disaster when the heater stuck on. Of course having a chiller hooked up during the summer is not going to hurt. The canister filter is in a little cabinet under the chiller. Link to comment

c_k_kuehne
Maybe you posted this before but .... With all the tanks in the contest and trying to read all the posts it's hard to keep track of what equipment is used in what tank but..... What type of ATO system are you using ?? Link to comment

It's pair of Aqualifers controlled by timers. The plan is to use 2-part in the makeup water containers and dose one in the AM and dose the other in the PM. Link to comment

I guess with timers it just takes some adjusting. Link to comment
