Indeed! Hopefully I'll have an extra helping hand to make it go more easily.

 

I'd recognize that digi anywhere. It was crazy when he first got it .

 

Yeah, it just hasn't done much since then. A tiny bit of vertical growth, but that's about it. I think I'm going to start dosing calc pretty heavy again, to keep it to the high end of the normal range. I think up until now, the frog was sucking it all up haha.

Apparently, this will be easier than I thought. I thought I'd have to completely remove the glass panels and start from scratch, but apparently this can be done without doing that! I'll need to fix the broken trim first, to make sure the fit stays solid, but apparently a reseal can be done from inside the tank.

Indeed they do! I'll have my buddy help me move it all to the basement, to where it would likely go. I don't have a proper outlet down there for it just yet, so I probably still won't be trying it quite yet. It does give me hope though!

I think that it found me. I was inspired by your Kole tang to check out this possibility. I do still need to skin the 29g stand, and before I do that, I need to figure out what I'm doing in terms of a fuge (if at all). So the winter project list is getting longer (already).

Well back this spring my other company had a signed contract with a huge company. Two weeks b4 the contract was dated to begin I was contacted by an executive director and was informed I was fired. Huge no no on her behalf. I have 30 day in out clause and she violated that. As the time ticked away she had a huge case built against my regional boss and myself. Going as far as filing sexual harrasament against us. Then reporting my company as being best friends with CEO's and using that as a mode of gaining multiple contracts. Then moving on to say that regional directors were forcing my company on all the ED's saying they had to use me. Needless to say it all hit the fan. I looked really bad. Luckly I have paper and can make a dauym good trail with it. So internal affairs and their corporate lawyers took my side as well as the CEO's. I steped away, signed formal resigination letters. Same went for my boss. We both took a 50k pay cut just to save our names and hide.

 

Needless to say both of us are back in the running for both positions, I will gain perfered vendorship that WILL make her have to use my Co. and removed any powers from her that would allow her to fire me again. CEO's have moved from the regional HQ to her campus, cases are built against her, many state regs were compromised. So her time is quickly coming to a close. Once the final two construction phases are finished its said she is history.

Thanx. She will be toast and jam in a few months. I just hope it all clears up soon. Cause I sure know alotta folks needs my acrylics. This is all the reason why I had to quit building.

Wow, it sounds like you dealt with a total beotch! It's a good thing you had a paper trail! She sounds about as bad as some of the government folks I deal with. It seems like she really had an agenda and was gunning for you. Seriously? A sexual harassment claim? At least the lawyers made things work out in your favor (or at least not in hers!) Hopefully she'll be left out to dry soon, and maybe even radioactive in the market. That would probably be a suitable punishment for her.

Well, I'm back from my weekend vacation. I got back around midnight, and it was an amazing extended weekend. Spent the weekend with the vet and her family on an island in the sun (for the most part) and had a fantastic time with her.

 

Unfortunately, I had to come in to work two hours early to get a jump on what will be a long and busy day. Two big deadlines today. However, I wanted to pop in to give a mini-update after the holiday, and when my email showed a post in here from tck, I knew I had to stop in this morning!

What is the yellow branching coral left of center towards the bottom. Still like the chalk bass? I love mine. He has taken up residence on a shelf of rock and peers out from there. Seems to be more active when daylights go out and just actinics on.

Thanks, and I needed it. My boss is a bit of a challenge sometimes, and this brief was for one of our board members (in his private practice). My boss left me to my own devices to finish in one day, so that's what took so long. However, when I got home (at 8:20 ) I already had an email from the board member, saying it was great. So that should appease my boss.

Hey Richie! I wish my green digi would grow so that I could frag it... it's just chilling. The weekend was awesome, and last night was a great end to it (since it did indeed have to end). Things are going really well with the Vet.... even better than I thought!

My boss is a bit of a challenge sometimes, and this brief was for one of our board members (in his private practice). My boss left me to my own devices to finish in one day, so that's what took so long. However, when I got home (at 8:20 ) I already had an email from the board member, saying it was great. So that should appease my boss.

 

Got a phone call from the board member today, and he "loved" my work. At least someone appreciates my work on this project. Hopefully he'll remember this when it comes time for me to ask for a raise next year.
