StevieT
Was debating on a pair of semi snowflake clowns but $200 for a fish is silly. Picked these little guys up today, haven't had an orange clown in a while so the change in color is nice. Link to comment

Ezsharkman
ST....Your new clowns are so cute! and wow! such great shots! I know how hard it is to photograph clowns when they are swimming around like they're riding a freaking bucking bronco Link to comment
StevieT
Especially new ones, they don't know where to hide or where to host yet so they never stop moving. Used the macro lens for some of those shots, free hand. Link to comment
Deleted User 6
send me some rics. kthx. Link to comment

StevieT
I miss that hood. When I got the 250 in it brought me back to how nice and clean it looked with it on. Should have saved it to shove the Radion in. Link to comment
siwelk
Looks whats in the hands of UPS MP10w ES I'm going to need to get your opinion on the coverage/penetration of the Radion friend. Looking to use it on a 24"x17"x17" possibly. TIA for anything you can offer up Stevie. Link to comment
StevieT
This is the main thing I am looking at. But after seeing it at MACNA and the review mrsaltwatertank did I don't see it as an issue. I probably should dim it some at first since it is supposed to put out similar to 250W MH. I'm just excited I can hook it to a computer and make it do a thunderstorm. Frigin sweet! The RSM is 24x18 so it will be very similar. Link to comment

I'm thinking of using it, as well as the MP10, on a Mr. Aqua 33.6 gal custom build. If it gets too awesome with storm simulation I may try to project myself into the tank for some nice Truman Show-esque footage though... Link to comment
StevieT
Needs an App IMO for control, I am sure some day soon. The first thing will be how to mount it. Wish I still had the hood, don't know if I want to hang it all the way from the ceiling. Maybe use a gooseneck I have in inventory from a Kessel. $749 at MAP, that's a lot to chew for a light on a small tank. Hopefully others bite on it so we get to watch it's full potential . I thought I saw MD have a hanging kit, not sure if it's meant for a single Radion or pairs. I agree. $749 is steep for something that has a 1-2' coverage recommendation per unit. I'm pretty sure if I go the route I'm looking, it will be my most expensive piece of kit by far. Link to comment
TheNordCelt
Looking good Stevie, can't wait for some footage of the light in action! Link to comment
StevieT
The hanging kit is for one light. I was going to add it to my order but decided to check the light out first hopeful to get a goose neck on it. Otherwise you can find simlar hanging kits anywhere locally. Link to comment

I'm sure people will get creative when installing/hanging these fixtures. If I could fashion a housing that allowed the Bat signal to emit from the Radion, that'd be legit. Link to comment
StevieT
I should do that but with this: Link to comment
