Low to High but tends to have polyp extension in higher flow paths.

Aggressiveness
Low, can be stung by it's neighbors, including mushrooms and some zooanthids.

Hardiness
Moderate, should be no problem for an aquarist with at least a year of experience.

Placement
Medium to High in the aquarium unless very strong light is given.

This genus can be branching, encrusting, or dome shaped. Normal colors are brown, yellow, and green. Sometimes with UV enhancement they show blue, pink, and purple pigments as well. Porites are often associated with Christmas Tree tube worms.
